Add a "Check for Update" button to library game pages
One of the few truly frustrating interactions I have with the Steam interface is when one of my games has an update and I have to fully close Steam (including any idle games I have open) to trigger the update search across my entire library for that one game.

This happens a lot across both live-service AAA titles (Destiny 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, etc) and indie games when they announce their updates being live on socials or in Discord servers. It definitely feels like a lot of extra steps instead of just having a "check this game for an update" button.

Would love to see it!

I'll add a +1 to this, but I'll also say you do have the option to "download updates as soon as possible".

Updates especially to live service games can take a moment to arrive on your region. They are live service after all, they have constant updates.
+1 great idea

I've got mine set to scheduled because of how many games I have installed and I'd rather have a bit more control. So it definitely affects me quite a bit, lol. I've had this thought for quite a while and was surprised to not find a suggestion like it.
