I don't think valve should open up litigation against itself.
IN a surprising twist. Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota has a bill. it is a bill saying to provide fair access to banking.

i say call him and say we need more protections.

Yes this was specific to bankruptcy lawyers but it applied to discrimination by a payment processor by professions that they arbitrarily deem high risk. Precedent is not just for square and bankruptcy lawyers.

What does the thread title mean?
I think they're trying to claim that Steam is a bank or that the law will somehow apply retroactively, neither of which are true.

The law would stop payment processors from forcing a company to do a similar thing in the future, once it passes and goes into effect, though.
