Which games are incompatible with Windows 11?
But altogether with the older games i have, i'm happy to see all of them working on Win 11.
Sorry to see you may have a different experience.
Project Zomboid
Citiy's skylines
Stellaris
Hearts of Iron 4.
Alternate launch options won't work and I tried many remedies including verifying game files to disabling windows defender
A lot of the games you mention should be able to run on Windows 11 without any problems, since Windows 10 is essentially no different.
Those titles are all pretty famous. Those games have around 100 000 to 300 000 reviews each.
If it didn't work on Win11 it would have that many positive reviews.
Something is wrong on your end and it's not Win11.

Just like when Defiance stopped working on my Windows 10 machine, but worked fine on my Windows 7 machine. The issue wasn't the game nor Windows 10. It was my machine.
the top 2 of those games, i own and play... on win 11 pro (24h2, noting, my cpu isnt supported, but it supports popcnt and the mobo only has tpm 1.2).
btw win 10 and 11 are basically the same, they run the same kernel and they share most of the same code, its only features (mostly security nonsense), the useless "hardware requirements" and the name..., being the difference between the 2.
the issue is on your end..., its likely runtimes, direct x, a program causing issues, or something similar.
go to the guides section and look up the 3rd party launcher bypass.
i have no issue running their launcher (unless they did something to break it, after i started bypassing it), but i have no reason to use it, just like the others.
good luck, have fun and have a nice day
Project Zomboid 100% works on Windows 11, so it sounds like an issue with your PC. I suggest you post on the games forum for help in troubleshooting why its not working for you
