Steam has recently placed a significant emphasis on promoting game demos. Not only do we have Next Fest, but now demos can have their own store pages, allowing users to leave reviews. This encourages greater support for demos—updating them and releasing subsequent versions. Unfortunately, if I downloaded a demo, the demo page in the Steam Client's library view is very sparse—no developer news (and therefore no patch notes) is visible. There's also no way to write a review directly from the library. My suggestions for the Steam Client are:
- Displaying news and other activity related to the full game on the demo page in the library
- Ability to leave a review of the demo directly through the library.
