No Trade Restrictions To Friends
Summary
I play a lot of CS, and so do a lot of my long time friends and even my twin. I feel steam should add no trade restrictions between long time friends because obviously I trust them, I've been friends with them for years.

Solution
Obviously there is probably legal stuff involved but maybe go through a process making your account eligible to instant trade with friends you selected that meet requirements of being a "good friend"
  • On your friends list for more than 1 year
  • You added to trusted friend and both confirmed
  • All trades with this user can never be reversed or reported as fraud(even if the account is hacked) since you both agreed your trusted friends

Sometimes I take breaks from CS2 and I have skins my brother can use when hes playing, its ridiculous to wait 7 days after receiving, then another 7 days to get it back, especially for someone like my twin brother. Where is he gonna hide if he doesnt give it back lol?

hijackers will wait years if necessary.

An optional security measure is no security measure.
The vast majority of hijacked accounts, the hijackers target their friends list first because friends are simply more trusted by the majority of users.

Valve already discontinued the friends for 1 year 1 day hold with no mobile app.

They did this already? I know but both friends have to agree to it, if its not an IRL friend thats risky I guess

Yup. This year. Along with the Market listings under $1 now requires confirmations again.

I assume this all played into them setting up Trade Protection for CS2 items.
