I've actually already done this. https://steam-review.streamlit.app/

It gathers the top 20 English reviews and does an AI summary with about 10 key bullet points. You can filter the reviews afterwards selecting the key point you are interested with. I would love to see something like that on the store.

And then Valve should take a liability hit for misrepresenting games towards their publishers because the AI gathered up and bundled misinformation?

I agree something like that could happen when there are campaigns to down vote a particular game. Valve already has measures in place to avoid it affecting the score.

Amazon does it, so if the AI is reliable enough I do not see the problem from the business side of things.

Google and Amazon have the size and the resources to host and refine their own AI, Valve doesn't have such infrastructure.

The model I am using is a 24b that could even be deployed locally. Summarizing is one of them easiest things for AI, and in my opinion, one of the most useful ones. They even can just outsource it. But well that's for Valve to decide. I am personally using it with games around 80% score to understand their good and weak points quickly.
