Custom letter fonts for source games

just wanted to give a suggestion for adding custom letter fonts compatibility for Source games like Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress etc.
We are able to have our nicknames with fancy letters on regular Steam profile and Counter-Strike 2, but it would be very awesome if we could do the same in older Source games.

Can you give an example of a "custom letter"? I'm pretty sure source engine games will just use your system fonts as a fallback if there' a character that isn't in the fonts included with the game.

So you mean Unicode support?
