Currently, the Linux/SteamOS search lists all games that have a Linux build in Steamworks, not by the developer-provided Linux system requirements. A large number of developers will do the bare minimum to support the Steam Deck, but not fill out the Linux system requirements and disclaim any Linux compatibility.

This is a problem when searching for true Linux games that work outside of SteamOS. SteamOS contains a great many libraries that these games (especially Unity ones) seem to rely on that are not present on other Linux systems, such as ancient OpenSSL versions missing from current Linux Mint distributions, etc.

I would like to suggest a search option that lets me search for games where the developer has explicitly provided Linux system requirements so I know that I have a realistic chance of actually running it outside of the Steam Deck.

I know supporting Linux is hard, especially coming from the Windows world, so I'd like to focus on finding the games that do go the extra mile and support Linux properly.
