threat to gaming coming, steam and others need to act
It always start small, its likely in the next year or two, we will see groups (collective shout, ect) and even politicians (republicans and ect) begin attempting to remove more than just what was removed recently.

I will say, steam and other companies and platforms need to begin working to squash this before it reaches a point that we wont see a good conclusion to.

Some people think "Its blown out of proportion and wont spread to other mediums or genres" until it does...my issue is people being so short sighted they dont see the threat coming and willingly sit with this.

Petitions work barely

Protesting works when they are forced to have to deal with the issue vs sitting and saying you "are not happy"

i think gamers will need to begin looking at options that go beyond the basics of voicing one's displeasure if suddenly we see games like Wolfenstein, Doom, Grand Theft Auto, Call of duty and more get targeted...it has happened already with NSFW games and will spread to others, GTA was once targeted by collective shout as well.

I really hope things do not go that far but...it wont be that surprising if it does anymore.

None of the affected games were removed for being NSFW.

Republicans are the ones backing bills to stop this type of thing and collective shout are associated with the far-left Australian labor party so please stop projecting your American Team red vs team blue nonsense onto the forum.

I already did this song and dance in the 90s. I don't have the energy to do it again.

Good luck tho.

No, the given reason (if there even was one) is not because they are NSFW.

Speak with visa and mastercard, there are plenty of other and more established topics regarding pedo/rape games being removed. Best of luck, blocked, etc.

NSFW is a censorship term, why do you use it to describe these games?

You're saying they not safe for work, and then you tell me that censorship is wrong. Make up your mind, censored or not censored?

The Civil Rights Act removed that freedom from businesses. And that's a good thing.
