Computer Parts Help
I recently came to the conclusion that I need a new motherboard for my Rog Strxq G16CHR gaming desktop. Again desktop, not laptop… the motherboard’s bios, password got set and forgotten, and it seems to be one of the very few that you can’t reset it without replacing the board for some reason I think that’s ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I think I’m just being ripped off, but I’ve decided to just replace the board myself and I was wondering if any of you computer gurus out there could tell me which would be the best board to get to put in it. I would rather not buy a board or Rog Strx board. I’d rather buy something else from different company but at the same time you know, I’m not totally opposed to buying something from the original company just maybe something a little better any help would do, man I’d appreciate it as I’m sitting here waiting to play my games.:steamthis:

Try replacing the watch battery on the motherboard. Try going into the bios and choose optimized defaults. Hope this helps

If you are getting a new motherboard, you might as well move on to the latest platforms and replace the CPU and Ram too.
