One thing Steam keeps the same for YEARS
I like this platform, I really do. But one thing Steam has been bugging me for years is, whenever I'm on a game's page the trailer video of the game plays and automatically moves to the next video and then the preview images.

Now that's all fine and dandy but if I just let the page stay idle it circles back to the video while I'm on a browser or when I'm doing something else. So I have to pause the video as soon as I get into the game's page, before checking out what it's about.

Is there a way to change this so the videos start playing when I click on them instead of automatically? It'd also be really nice if we can toggle the cycle of images + videos so steam doesn't replay the video when the page is idle. These two would make great quality of life improvements for the platform.

Hope I managed to make sense with this, thank you for reading.

The autoplay function? The cog in the player itself. It will have a checkmark next to it if it is on. You can turn autoplay off.
