Let us have our theme song for profiles!
I don't know about the license issue but it would be cool if have our on our profiles

Like me for example, having synthwave/outrun tracks. The whole point is just for more detailed and personalized theme that some users does

I know everyone is not into this so add the option to turn on/off

Have been requested before and it's still a horrible idea imo.

Thanks but no thanks

If it's off by default I wouldn't care.

I like it. If the music is limited to owned soundtracks on Steam, licensing issues could be avoided. And it would create an additional incentive to purchase soundtrack DLCs.

It doesn't avoid license issues. The soundtracks are meant for your own personal use, not broadcasted freely for everyone.

That is incorrect. You are allowed to play your music for other people; you just aren't allowed to do it for commercial purposes unless you're properly licensed.

That's why the Pinkertons don't show up to your house and shoot your dog when you're playing Lady Gaga at your backyard barbecue.

Just not on your steam profile, as you can tell.

Yes, that's why this thread was made, to ask for it as a feature.
