the sooner the better, i think everyone is waiting for that new amd chip , once it hits they will need to boost the Ram anyway to use the chips build in Cpu/GPU Features to share Memory and turn it into VRam, I don't see a price tag of 1000.00 dollars being unacceptable if the product delivers results.
Handheld is meant to have realistic limitations based on its form factor especially in this case being the battery & portability, something anyone that's ever used a handheld knows.
Right? lol
But would you actually buy it at that cost? Afterall, the original demands was less cost and more discount.
Exactly seeing as how the Steam Deck has being a very successful product for Valve.
The only way youd accept that price tag is if youre getting 3K in product. We remember things you have said in the past.
maybe 1.5k I am not greedy but yeah i like to get a deal of course. But regardless of my personal likes, I really just want to see a good experience happen for users, I don't hate Steam or any of you nice people, and i understand you might look at my suggestions with a hint of profit loss an anger but have faith that in the long one more profit is gained from the enjoyment of your customers and the willingness to purchase more from positive experience with both devices and the games sold on steam.
Steam if you want quality payment , quality product is expected. I refuse to believe you are happy with your current results and would rather increase both renown an profit with a much more powerful steam deck.
or
Maybe even a Valve Index 2 which can wirelessly connect steam VR helmet all in combo that allows users to access steam play any game with VR Optional experience , or output to a TV
Yeah steam was taking advantage of valve index customers, 1000 dollars for a supped up price tag 200 dollars device is not good faith. VR failed so badly , but steam is really the only ones that could pull it out of the mud, sony vr 2 is trying, I have heard you can link a Sony VR 2 to the PC an steam games to play on PC but i can not confirmed this.
Not to mention other devices with 24gb of ram, a large portion of that is used up by Windows which is not ram efficient. Better to stay at their price point and be affordable to the masses then price yourself into something only the elite can afford especially with this economy.
comedy gold.
as for the suggestion,
valve will obviously make another steam deck with improved hardware.
and yeh, they could charge whatever they want because there's a near endless supply of obsessed fanboys who'll pay anything.
end of thread.
