Turn off all payments.
Turn off the payment processors. All of them. They don't want to play by our rules? Don't let them play at all. Let the corporations who put all their money into development & marketing & teams of lawyers fight the payment processors.

It's a game of chicken between valve, gamers, and the gaming & banking industry..

Gamers don't blink. We all have back catalogs. We don't NEED to spend spend spend on all the new terribly coded messes. Sit back, give them nothiing, and watch the corpos fight each other to get our money again.

Stop being stupid sheep. Realize the power is in your wallet, not theirs.

And cash is always king.

This would be business suicide for valve.
To play chicken it shouldn't figuratively be cyclist vs armored truck, we all know who wins that.

In which Valve rides a bicycle and the banking industry a train.

People have said that when Early Access started - it's still here.

People have said that when Pre-Release was introduced - it's still here.

People have said that when 1st-week DLCs started to appear - they are still here.

People have called to boycott Bethesda, EA, etc. - They are ALL still here.

What does that tell you?

It is disastrously simple to derail a train.

Where are these companies going to sell their games?

Gamestop? Ninja plz.

They gonna set up their own websites to sell direct? Good luck with that, the cost of setting up a proper retail at that scale would probably be more than they'd make off a game.

One of the other loaders? Epic? Gog? Don't think so.

Valve/Steam holds more cards than you give credit for.

No market = no sales = no publishers making money.

When the publishers get mad and push back against the processors for not playing ball.... we'll see what happens then.

They’ll sell where they can. If that means moving to epic or gog then they will. They won’t sacrifice profit and their own well being for “the cause”. It must be nice having no clue how the world works
