I think it would be helpful to have at least one prior version of a game's files saved to the cloud so that, in the event of a softlock or, as I recently experienced, total loss of game data due to a weird game crash, we can go back to the previous version to try and undo the mistake. It sucks to lose every bit of progress from a game I poured hours into and not be able to go back.
