Segregation by IQ in multiplayer games
Someone should make it a thing, as a 130+ IQ person it's soul crushing playing with 100IQ people, or sometimes even like 80IQ people... Most people are actually unable of thinking, they just run on autopilot.

They don't use strategy, tactics. If you give them advice they will either respond with hostility for "criticizing" them, just dismiss it, try to claim it doesn't matter, doing the proper thing wouldn't have helped, or that it's someone's else fault they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

Oh yeah, and the best reaction - refusing to accept the advice because "it's not that serious, touch grass". How does that make sense to play competitive pvp games, and refuse to learn how to play the game??? If you want to mindlessly spam LMB why are you not playing a casual game??? ...

if you want to see a change to how a games matchmaking works, post in that games forum.

if you have complaints about multiplayer, post in that games forum

this forum is for suggestions for the steam client, not game suggestions nor how to make a matchmaking system that you like.

The segregation is called "Ranked".

From a quick look at this subforum many people are posting suggestions for not steam client, or even not suggestion at all, do you also comment on all of them it's a wrong forum? )))
Posting in a game's forum is not the right solution as I mean this system for all competitive multiplayer games, not just one certain game )))

Pretty sure OP is in ELO hell and that's where this weird idea came from.

Not sure how in your opinion Valve is supposed to fix all competetive multiplayer games by applying changes to the Steam client. That would be some miracle making.

What you describe sounds like a typical MP game.

Seriously...it's been like that since the very beginning, and it will never change.

The only solution is to have a group of like-minded players and have private games.

Strange that someone claiming to have an IQ of 130+ does not know this, is seemingly unable to figure out such a simple solution, and instead runs to the forums to complain and make a completely ridiculous suggestion.

130 IQ doesn't know about friends or teams.

Also would be in a snit if all the 140s wanted to exclude lowly 130s.

So much for IQ... maybe OP needs double check theirs make sure that number isn't one decimal point to the left, which would be an easy thing for someone in the teens to miss.
You can have a high IQ and suck at the game.

Most multiplayer games use some form of EOMM to prevent you from gaining ranks/deranking too fast.

True. Barring some rare losing streaks of back-to-back games with griefers on your team, you will land in the bracket that your skill level is at.

Alternatively, you could also switch to 1v1 type of competitive games. That way you have no one else to blame.

or that it's someone's else fault they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

It is true that you'll get bad teams. But so does everyone else. How do you think everyone else gets by?

And with that *checks notes* 130 IQ, you don't see the impossiblility behind that idea?
IQ rating for games, that would be something...

Your posting in the wrong forum, for games, please post your question or requests in the games own forum.

I've found through the years that individuals who feel the need to brag or drop their IQ online, usually are lacking. Whether it be integrity, via lying about the IQ. Or potential, as in wasting the intelligence and not putting it to constructive use.
