manually going back to the old steam reviews way in the search

its freaking unconfortable because i cannot take notice if there are guides or mods or a thriving community, lets say expedition 33 it shows 800 reviews now thanks to my language.

that means is a super indie game that got around 10k - 50k copies sold and i will not find answers or many guides for it, yet its a game im often recommended... but im wrong since we know the game we are talking about, but when im trying to look at the indies they now show no reviews in some scenarios, so they are to me just dead games or cashgrabs.

i need to see the sum of all reviews when i search for new games, because the games im interested are a lot of the time are games with 100 to 200 reviews. mostly in english because i know for a fact that there are VERY few indie games in spanish.

i just want to know at will while im searching new games for that total number, not just my language.

You can check it actually. If you scroll down to the review section, it should show all review count.

That being said, I think this whole change was a pretty weird idea on Valve's side.

i know i see the old review sum there, but when im looking for a new game, thing that people tell me that are super popular have like 50 to 300 reviews in the searcher.

manually clicking into every single game just to see the total ammount because i cant trust the reviews system anymore to tell me what i need to know makes the whole process of looking for a new game a chore.

ok i found the setting, there in the reviews there is a small link that takes you to a setting and there is an edit button, then you select: "show me all steam reviews" solved, now hogwards legacy and expedition 33 show in the searcher more reviews than niche indie games.

I don’t really care one way or the other about the change-what I do find amusing is that since the change was implemented I’ve seen several reviews in Spanish and one in German. My Spanish is bad, my German is worse (unfortunately, in both cases).

My point being: their language filter doesn’t seem to be filtering all too throughly yet.

People have made similar suggestions, myself included. Valve takes 30% from each sale, so it’s not motivated to act.

It's very unlikely your suggestion will be implemented.

The filter is already there to switch back.
