if at first reading it can be not so interresting , the basic idea is not that bad.

because in steam there is some groups around one central account ( friend list ) that can usually 'attack' the same thread
the possibility to block , not also the current target but also all his friends can be a nice add if we have the choice for that, and do it dynamically - each need add will be also blocked.

idiots still exist at a time but keep in mind even theses people can change , and you can be agree with them on other form of 'subject' but for that, you need to read them, even if they are blocked ...
from my experience, cats are not making dogs and people with the same kind of objectiv and behaviours tend to regroup but not all are one the same level ...

but yeah if you meet the same group of people on similar thread , the question should be open that why i am +/- agree about group ban from friend list ...

i can give you a good exemple , even if i risk a ban for that but sadly you won't be able to verify what i will tell you because now some are now using a private profile,and it's the case for the queen of the hive xd

just ignore them by putting them on your blocklist : i know it's far from beeing perfect because you have no clue who's blocked people is folded from the thread you're reading .. you have to read it to know the poster ...
but it's a bad thing for a good thing, because it force you to read them and so you can change your mind about the blocked people you're reading

and i told you that because i am mainly posting on thread talking about windows 7 and this kind of thread have many, many people that want this kind of thread to be closed and they are ready to do anything for that :
- posting lies, constant misinformation,harrassment of w7 users posting in this kind of thread , etc, etc ...
and that since 2024 .
this kind of thread is suffering from coordinate assault from the same group of people from time to time ...

and last advice :
- be patient, soon or later they will left, because the worst thing that can happen to kind of people , is to be ignored and do not generate answere from others ....(ignoring them is the best thing because they need too much of our attention and so waiting for answer )
