Can't complete Discovery Queue
One or more games that have been added to my discovery queue are not available in my region, this is preventing me from being able to complete my queue.

In this case, I'm fairly certain the game is Hotline Miami 2 - banned here in Australia.

Why is the queue not smart enough to avoid putting unavailable games within, or at the very least putting a Skip or Next button on the page saying "This game is unavailable in your region"

This game is litererally the 2nd in my queue so I can only see one title... annoying.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is there word that it's going to be patched?

Thanks

I've been having this problem too. Usually you can refresh your queue and get past that unavailable game by clicking store>explore>start another queue. This quick little work around has stopped working for me as Steam keeps on recommending the same unavailable game to me.

You can find out what the game is by looking at the URL. For example: steamhost.cn/app/250200/?snr=1_239_next__122 is the URL causing me grief - a quick google search for app/250200 shows that it is Cabela's® African Adventures on Steam. Why this is banned in Australia I do not know, but now at least I have a game to direct my hatred towards :pixlotno:

Months later, this problem persists. I am beginning to doubt there will ever be a solution rendering the disovery queue completely redundant for myself and scores of others...

I'm still having problems with that same Cabela game and have received no response from Steam support :meatytears:

It sucks this hasn't been fixed or even acknowledged... and that Cabela game looks pretty terrible lol :D
I think I've figured out a shoddy workaround if anyone is interested...

Games that are region blocked in your discovery queue in the store are not region blocked in the community site. Since the offending game for me is app/250200 I was able to go to steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/250200 and then click on "Follow" at the top of the community page. As far as I can tell, Follow is the only command I can access which will allow me to remove the game from my discovery queue... of course it means I can look forward to hearing about updates for that game in my Activity Feed, but at least I have the satisfaction of knowing I've officially reached the end of my queue.

You may be able to get more titles by changing your customization options - or come back later, new products are released daily."

Tried this, but app 255163 does not allow me even this. It sends me to page of app 209170.

Yep, have the same issue.
BTW, thanks, "Bob" the Space Cadet. I think you should go to valve and take steam client developers and support earnings, since you do more to help us than they do anyways.

If you copy this URL to your web browser you can just change it to this:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/250200/?cc=us

and then you will be able to view it no problems (you can't buy it though)
