Reviews in multiple languages via dropdown
Many of us do speak English even though we're not from an English speaking country, but some of our mutuals don't.

It's always a not so easy decission to make which language to write a review in. Putting it all in one review is creating a confusing monolith, and auto translation would be sub par because of cultural differences with how text is perceived (the undertone).

So having multiple languages for one review that reviewers could optionally fill and readers could view via a dropdown selector might work well and keep it clear.

Pick one.
Ideally the language you have the greatest familiarity and ability with and go with that.
No need to multiply the storage required.

Write in the language you prefer and others can use built-in browser translators to read it.

Already wrote about that in my post if you didn't read it. It's about improving the system here, not about what's possible and always sub par by external means.
For example, how would that auto translation work on Steam Deck in game mode and still be comfortable, let alone as good as a review written by a native speaker or someone who's fluent in nuances of a second language?

I've got many GB of unused Steam cloud storage like virtually everyone else if that shall be made a problem (which it isn't these days). Use a couple of KB from that then.

While I do respect conservative views, I often don't agree with them most of the time and rather concentrate on improvements. No hard feelings with that, just in case.
I agree with you, I'd be nice if people could write reviews in multiple languages just the way you described
