Report a translation problem
So I'm still interested if anyone has 2 Xbox One controllers at hand to test them over bluetooth simultaneously and confirm if it's worth buying a second one. If possible I would prefer not to buy an additional adapter if it's not mandatory...
@10Club regarding your disconnection problem, did you try to remove then resync your controller in the Windows 10 bluetooth panel? It worked for me.
Actually, sometimes it is possible to connect them, but they do not work in games. Had to use USB cables.

and stream the controller inputs to the host pc
No if you must do the wireless go get the official MS Xbox X|S USB wireless dongle which uses dedicated 2.4Ghz channel
