Monitor loses signal (black screen)
Almost 2 weeks ago, i upgraded my PC with new hardware.
This is the specs of my old PC: https://es.pcpartpicker.com/list/PyMxRJ
And I added:
1. An Asus Dual Geforce GTX 1060 Oc 6GB DDR5 Graphics Card
2. A new power supply Seasonic 620W 80 Plus Bronze instead of the one i had
3. Another 2TB HDD Caviar Black WD

I am using a DVI cable connection since my monitor doesn't support HDMI
I am facing this problem that got me confused and i don't know where to start to solve it.
While i am playing, the screen goes black and the monitor is displaying analogue/DVI windows as if it is searching for a cable or something. The PC is still on, the power supply is working, my vga card is working (i opened my case and checked the fans and everything), sound is working too (second time it happened i was in a discord channel with my friend and we would talk normally except my screen black.

I tried monitoring my temperature while gaming, it was between 66-71/72 something around that and around 50 when it's idle.
So, basically everything was running fine even the background music of the game still playing, but with a black screen. Also, the speed of GPU fans shoots to 100 percent whenever this happens and it doesn't lower its speed unless i force restart my PC case power buttons which also fixes the black screen problem.

What i tried:
I reinstalled my driver using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in safe mode - didn't fix it
I updated the bios of the motherboard - didn't fix it
I thought the problem could with the new cable so i used HDMI-VGA convertor to connect my old vga cable which i know was working before i upgraded my pc - didn't fix it
The same problem happened too while i was changing cables, there was no game open though. The monitor was still connected to the card by the DVI cable. The second i inserted the HDMI end of the convertor into the card (knowing that the other end is not connected to anything yet) the fans of the card shoots to 100 percent and the screen goes black again. I know that this card can support two monitors so i don't know what was the issue there, is it because the power was on while i was plugging in the HDMI although i have done this a lot on laptops when i want to display on projector.

This problem happened 4 times completely random through the 2 weeks. Happened on overwatch and watch dogs 2, so i assume demanding games triggers this but then again i know my card can support these games and it's true since they don't show any signs of frame drops or lagging due to hardware.

I know my motherboard, my monitor, my ram, and my processor are working fine since this problem only started showing after i got my new components.
So, i don't what to do here...
Is there a chance that my PSU or VGA card is faulty to begin with?
Should i monitor the cpu temperature as well while i am gaming?

I really hope you can help me out here
Thank you so much for your time and effort.

did u overclock your monitor?
Do this.

Remove the GPU. Run off your onboard graphics and see how things work. I know, it may not be ideal, but removing one of the new pieces of hardware may help you narrow down where the issue is.

GPU and cables might not be seated right that will cause a loses signal black screen, You will get a windows sound drop off and you will see a windows disconnection error on windows notification

well the problem is my integrated graphics card won't be able to support those demanding games i play i will just have to set everything to low again concerning video graphics in games
Plus, it is working fine as long as i am not playing
and the problem occurs randomly in some games

That doesn't happen, sound is working perfectly
vga card is working too but fans at 100 percent at that moment

I don't think that will help me
i don't have problems with installation since the vga card is read perfectly by my pc
games are working perfectly but at some moments totally random the screen just goes black and displays analog/DVI signal searching until i force restart my PC

Then your Monitor is dying, simple as that really.

try other cable or monitor. This takes like what, 5 minutes time?

You need to start eliminating the easiest things first or removing the new hardware to help pinpoint the problem. Things you can do.

As suggested, try another video cable or monitor.
Remove the GPU and utilize onboard graphics, see if the black screen issues continue.
Test the GPU in another computer.
Test a different, known working GPU in your computer.

You clearly have some kind of hardware issue and you need to figure out what it is, but without actually doing anything isn't going to help you out. Until you start doing these things, there's nothing else we can help you with.

Try underclocking your gpu with msiafterburner.

A gpu driver crash can be caused by overclocking the gpu too aggressively. Usually a message in small white text will appear on the screen saying "gpu driver crashed, driver restarting" or similar. But if the link has dropped out the this might not happen. As the game is still running it appears to be agpu driver crash.

Also check your monitor manual to make sure that control panel settings for the monitor are set to supported values.

Also check your bios settings, in particular that pcie is on x4.

i tried a DVI cable and a vga cable using HDMI-VGA convertor
the same problem happened again
My monitor was working perfectly 2 weeks ago it just died after couple of days of purchase

i already tested the cables, with no luck
Ok i will test another monitor using a HDMI cable
i will also test changing my PSU then
testing another GPU is going to be hard since i don't have another one
and my older pc won't support GTX1060

I don't understand what should i do in bios concerning the x4

So, if the games worked correctly when my gpu is underclocked, this is a driver error not a gpu error? and how should i fix?
I already installed my nvidia drivers twice, should i try an older version?

this is the exact problem i am facing, i found it on youtube

I had a similar problem shortly after building a new PC. After launching heavy games or 3D applications, the monitor would lose signal, but the sound would remain. I noticed that when the “No Signal” message appeared, the video card fans would also stop working.
I wasn't sure which component was causing the problem: the monitor, GPU, PSU, or something else. I tried many solutions, including reinstalling all drivers, cleaning the system, checking for errors, and reinstalling the entire OS. Nothing helped. I was ready to return each component under warranty one by one. But I searched for the problem on the Internet and found that in many similar cases, the problem was the power supply. I decided to start by disconnecting the PC and checking the cables and connectors. As it turned out, the video card connectors were not fully inserted into the PSU. When I removed the PSU from the case, they simply fell out because they were not held in place by the clips. Because of this, the video card did not have enough power during intensive loads and turned off. And since I only had one discrete video card connected to the monitor, it lost the signal.
Therefore, always check the connectors to the power supply and do not be afraid to insert them all the way in to secure them properly.
Either faulty GPU, not a good enough PSU or faulty display cable.

Cables can get cracked wiring inside over time if you keep moving those around. PSUs degrade over time
