Meme Linux distros
As the name says.
I've got an old ♥♥♥♥ laptop which i at least currently don't need anymore. So i want to ditch kde neon and replace it with some meme distro

I've tried AmogOS but when booting the iso from my usb it says that it doesn't support x64 boot
Enabling leagacy os support in the bios dosen't help either. Maybe it's due to ventoy, a tool to load multiple iso's on 1 usb, but it didn't make any problems previously...

So are there any other meme distros? And if possible, a distro which is somewhat recent, so no Hannah Montana Linux

Or should i install Arch and customize it to be a meme distro

What are the laptop specs? I did the same recently on my old Lenovo z585 w/ A10-4600M & 6gb ram, I went with LMDE 4 and it's flawless... Anything older than a 2nd gen core i3 I would probably go with plain-old debian, it's just as memeable

it's an intel celeron n3060 2c/2t cpu
Intel atom something gpu
4gb ddr3 ram
And the os on a hdd

So it's slow, but not ancient.

Personally I would go Debian stable w/ lightdm and fluxbox - a bit of searching shows MX linux, antiX and peppermint pretty popular with similar craptops...

Cool, but as said earlier. I want a meme distro, because i don't care that much for functionality or reliability on an old laptop i don't use anyways

I don’t know what meme means but if you want something lightweight then ditch the DE and use a Window Manager. Try em all… I can’t remember which but of of them looked pretty neat. When I still used my old Atom n270 I’m sure I had OpenSuse on it with a WM and it ran great.

OK let me be specific
With meme distros i mean Something like Hannah Montana linux, AmongOS, ubuntu satanic etc.

Joke distros to be simple

I know I am very late to this thread, but try out Nyarch Linux, it's an arch based distro that is still maintained and is weeb themed, that's the only actif up-to date meme os I know of, there's also UwUntu, recent, but not updated to the latest version
