Steam Deck problem with access permissions for my SD card.
My Access Permissions keep changing after I restart or shut down which keeps me from installing games in Gaming Mode to my sd card. I have to go to Desktop Mode and open Dolphin and change the permissions of my removable device (my sd card) and install a game to my sd card in steam while in Desktop Mode. Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? TIA.

Games that are already installed on the sd card run fine btw.

I tried formatting the sd card and I get the following error.

"Format Error

The microSD card failed validation tests and cannot be formatted. Contact your microSD card manufacturer for support."

setup the SD card from inside game mode and then only manage it from inside game mode.

To anyone reading this, what I did to fix this was unmount the sd, reset deck, and then remount it. Sometimes it really is that simple.
