Of course, my experience with the Arch family is limited. And my experience with linux VMs is even less. You might have a better time booting a live disk.
Notes for newbies: official Arch you need build from start till the gui with drivers- meaning your configure need package manager like PAC with networking stuffs BUT WITH MANJARO INSTALLATION YOU COULD INSTALL GUI ALSO COMMUNITY DRIVERS.
Because of using VM on VirtualBox you better let everything on default settings and you kinda add more VRAM for GPU you just slide video memory up to 128MB or you could use commands allow GPU VRAM up to 256MB. Oh don't forget snapshot may give you go back from start, nice feature from VirtualBox.
