My escape and number 2 keys aren't responding while playing a game I have to manually hold key FN to force them to work on my Asus gaming laptop

Anybody have experience with this problem and found a solution 😞 sometimes I have to repeaditly push those keys in order for them to register

Asus ROG STRIX G18 RTX 4080

in bios, check options, there is a fn lock, turn that off

Doesn't have that option in bios

try fn+capslock
that might toggle it off

or look at the fn key, it should say fn+(something) and lock symbol
hit that combo to toggle fn lock

Still doing it I've tried everything even uninstalling the keyboard driver dam I think it's internal problem

Flash the bios
This is the ugly attempt... replace the keyboard. If it is that.

laptop keyboards are fairly cheap, most <$20
but replacing them is a huge pain, you will need to disassemble 75-90% of the laptop to replace
