Different hardware. Crappier software and controls.
Kinda messed up they plan on launching a system thats already on the verge of not being able to play the latest games
it was never great for the latest games, but could play at lower/mixed settings
or stream from host at higher settings
if you have not used remote play, it works really good, <1 frame behind host pc on local wifi, or add a frame or two if at a location where ping is <40ms
Which used to be the thing consoles had the advantage in... but... since Commander Keen and co, well...
The PC can do it, bro... it can. It can really really scroll 2d really good, and do 3d too. No worries! You can just get a PC and enjoy games AND workstation fun.
Theres a new Xbox?
So basically a computer with the Xbox UI? So PC Xbox? Got it.
Its literally running the same gpu generation, same cpu generation, similar tdp and very similar clocks. The Z2A is the steamdeck apu. Im even going to bet the "A" stands for Aerith.
Steam Deck
CPU: Zen 2 4c/8t, 2.4-3.5GHz
GPU: 8 RDNA 2 CUs, 1.6GHz
TDP: 15W
XBox AllyX
CPU: Zen4 8c/16t 3.3-5.1GHz
GPU: 12 RDNA 3 CUs, 2.7GHz
TDP: 25W Batt max, 30W plugged in.
No where near the same chip, a simple bit of reading shows that.
A bit more reading would do you good mate. Theres two versions coming out. Youre comparing the "top end, no average person would buy" version. Im not discussing that model
Here's me fixing it for you
Steam Deck
CPU: Zen 2 4c/8t, 2.4-3.5GHz
GPU: 8 RDNA 2 CUs, 1.6GHz
TDP: 15W
XBox Ally (Non X since you cant research)
CPU: Zen2 4c/8t 2.8-3.8GHz
GPU: 8 RDNA 2 CUs
TDP: 15W-20W
Yes, the steam deck can go above 15W im holding the proof in my hands. Yes the steam deck cpu can also clock up to 4ghz
