For some reason my Xbox 360 controller is recognized as a PS3 controller in the bluethooth and on steam. For example if I try to configure my controller for a game, it shows PS3 controller and buttons. Anyone know why and how to fix this?

I've tried uninstallaing from device manager, removing from bluetooth connections, restarting, I've had this issue for 7 months now so tried quite a bit but I'm not finding anything like my problem online, closest is PS3 controller recognized as Xbox 360.
