That's Amazon listing for this CPU. (Look it up if you don't like the link)
The socket listed is LGA 771. I Googled the CPU and it should be LGA 1700.
Is this just a display error?

Looked around a bit, it's to be the CPU's chip. I'm not overly worried about that. What i want to be sure about is the 14700k will fit in the LGA 1700 socket.

you can also google the cpu on intel's site

mobo manufacturers list the supported cpu for each mobo model on their websites

if you don't have a mobo -
note - to get maximum performance out of a 14700k you may need a z chipset mobo e.g. z790 as advised above
plus check ddr4 vs ddr5, number of nvme slots, usb connectors, integrated sound chip etc
