I would not bother attempting to fix it. Buy something else.

Try them out in person maybe; $15 might not even be worth it.

Razer is mostly junk anyways; just way overpriced. They make some good mice and laptops; that is about it. 90% of the rest of their stuff is junk.

If it happens to have a analog knob type of volume control on it; get some contact-cleaner spray and very light burst where the knob is located, then work the knob back and forth for a bit. Analog jacks, switch and knob can get dirty or worn over time and create noise or not make proper contact as a result.

Ok that can be a side effect from crappy onboard sound on your PC when cpu usage is high.

Is the headset using analog audio jack or USB?

Can it be used by plugging into the Motherboard Audio? Maybe try it that way instead
Could always open it up and look at the connections, make sure everything looks good and there are no bad soldered points obviously visible, though, if there were I'd expect it to be more consistent.

Not sure how easy it would be to open up either, most, especially cheap headphones are not designed to be opened up once put together.

I'd really not bother tbh, your sennheiser game ones are better.

razor junk is cheap
probably a bad audio cable

will be cheaper to buy another than get it repaired

Those Sony cans are WAY better then the razors, they are a bit old but I have the MX4s and they sound amazing.
