Firefox ad free setup
Ok so it's been many years since I setup a web browser on a PC. I have always used Firefox though so I will probably stick with that. Which plug-in or plug-ins do I need to use to keep it ad free even on YouTube?

You will only need Ublock Origin.
I use
ublock origin (this may be enough)
noscript

noscript can be a pain to figure what scripts you need to enable to get a site to work. not sure if my use of it actually prevents YT ads.

Yep, Ublock Origin is enough.
been using noscript for well over a decade and it still works
Thanks!
I live in EU so I use ghostery to bypass gdpr cookie prompts aswell as blocking ads

Ghostery is a commercial corp, I'd avoid them.

In Firefox go to about:config, then set cookiebanners.service.mode to 1.

1 = Auto decline.
2 = Auto decline, auto accept if decline fails.
