You didn't screw the first screw in all the way did you?

its not supposed to go in all the way on the first one so the others can screw in with the diagonal pattern

i've installed this before it just doesn't want to now for some resaon

Good to know

The screws aren't cross threaded or malformed i hope.

Also have you tried starting a different one first?

yeah, the starting one is perfectly fine but all of the other ones arent

also all perfectly on the studs

(i did get two on and i'm currently stress testing in delta force until i can get an actual professional to do it)
Are you holding it down properly so all the pressure is not all on the one screw and this pulling and tilting the cooler. Install the cooler with Motherboard laying flat on a sturdy safe surface outside your Case

start each screw by 1-2 turns, then repeat until its evenly tight on all screws

i've brought it to someone who knows what they are doing more, except its still getting the exact same temps even with good thermal paste (arctic mx-6)
No offense... it's a junk cooler

Get a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120. They come in a couple different models, some even have a Temp Display Screen and RGB fans. These generally range form around 34-48 $USD and will cool basically any AM4 CPU and also AM5 up to the 9700X

would it not have the issue with the spring loaded screws being an absolute pain to install? if so i might have to get one
This is why I highly recommend you put the Motherboard on a flat sturdy but also safe surface, outside the Case, so that when you go to apply such a cooler you can push down and hold the cooler flat on the cpu and not break the seal you've created between cooler and thermal paste. Then while holding down the cooler use you other hand to place all 4 screws into place, then slowly start each screw with a proper screw-driver. This will also allow you to push down a bit (don't be too forceful) with screw-driver so you can apply proper torque without stripping the screw heads.

You can watch plenty of builders do it on YouTube

Once the cooler is installed go ahead and install the RAM also. Since with the Motherboard out of Case that too will be much easier.

if you assemble everything the first time
mobo + cpu + ram + m.2 drives + cooler
install that in the case, connect front panel, usb/speaker/etc.., fans, sata drives
next, gpu
next psu, and connect to mobo, gpu, sata drives, fan hubs or whatever else needs power
and cable management

if you need to upgrade the cpu cooler, most cases have a large enough cutout for it but it is more difficult to do inside the case
