So the 13500HX is a tiny bit faster than the 6800H, but with that free ram and storage upgrade, I think the nitro looks like the more enticing option, especially with a 1440p screen, & 8 cores is already good enough anyway. I can also attest to previously owning a nitro laptop for a few years and haven't experienced quality issues.
As for the GPUs, the 3070 at the higher wattage will perform better than the 4060, at least in pure raster.
Might I ask though, if you truly need to have a laptop? PCs usually provide a better bang for buck in terms of performance, and you get more freedom to tweak and upgrade, not to mention things like lower temps and noise. With that said, I don't want to make any assumptions because I am unfamiliar with the market in the Philippines. G'Day!

That for me was a dealbreaker. Not just for redundancy, but for some games and modding operations you need stuff installed outside of the system drive. 512gb as a baseline with no upgrade option is disastrous in my view.
As for the display, resolutions above 1080p aren't that important in my experience. Given the limited screen size, 1080p is a perfect fit. Coming from a 1440p desktop display, I don't think I would ever use it on a 15.6" screen. In games, Ui elements are already a bit cramped at 1080p. Might be okay in games with UI-scaling. I don't really find myself missing 1440p on my laptop.
Battery life might be better on the Victus, but not by much. It might even equalize given the more energy efficient Ryzen. I guess it would depend more on how much power you are squeezing from the GPU.
I've read some negative feedback over thermals on the Nitro as well as some outlier complaints about the keyboard. Take that with a grain of salt. Might be worth researching further into it.
I'm already tempted to build my own pc but I tend to travel a lot which means that I can't bring my pc with me all the time. If I exceed P65,000 (1133 usd) then there's no use buying a very expensive laptop where I can get a decent pc with that kind of budget. Gaming laptops here in the Philippines are really expensive. You can only get an RTX 2050-3050 around P33,000 (575 usd) - P55,000 (959 usd). I also read an online comment about not buying a brand new laptop. But instead build a pc and buy a 2nd hand laptop for portable gaming. Maybe I'll do that soon.
By the way, is there any issues with the Nitro 5 laptop aside from being an old model? When it comes to it being bulky, I think it's a good thing for the thermals.
I'm from the Philippines. So that's a problem already and I will be spending more by importing that laptop. haha
