Air USB air dusters any good?
Do they replace cans?

Instead consider one which plugs straight in to a wall outlet, they are very powerful.
They r ok but a small soft brush with vacuum is better as it takes the dust away.Wear an anti static band against accidental shock

I usually just touch the screw on the light switch, I heard that grounds you.

good enough for cleaning keyboard, but not for the entire computer with harder to reach places

get an compressor that bigger than a gallon
ex.

I use an Airtek Ultra Type 3, I bought from Amazon. Plugs into the wall, lots of attachments and not terribly expensive. It's been one of the best $40 investments ever

it does as long as the outlet/switch is properly grounded (you'de be amazed how many inspections i have done and the grounding isn't right} and if the screw isn't painted over. (usually this is a non issue , the charge is most of the times big enough to jump across the thickness of the paint)

touching the case would be better, so you share the same ground as the case
earth ground would make no difference if the case is not grounded to the same reference

and you being grounded makes no difference since the entire vacuum hose is not grounded, plastic is an insulator, and air/dust traveling through it will create large amounts of static

Mines ok now. Only turns on after a full charge

Then I have to use it until it powers off after like 10 minutes

Has a fairly powerful blast of air to it, so after dusting my computer each time its good for a month or so.

It did last like two years before the off button broke. I mean it technically still works. Saved me buckets of money from not buying canned air

It's pretty expensive but I went and got a Metro ED500 DataVac and it is absolutely incredible. Was totally worth the money IMO.

Go with a corded one. I doubt the USB ones have enough power unless they have a big battery pack or something.
