Windows11 cumulative updates broke steam credentials
Hi there,
I have an issue with Windows11 24H2: after (almost) any cumulative update, I have to re enter my credentials in STEAM (and NAS shares), as they turn back asking me when I have to use them
Credentials are then correctly remembered until a new (big?) cumulative update. It seems that somehow both STEAM and my NAS don't recognize my desktop PC anymore
Any tip? With 23H2 I didn't have this problem

the major updates like that replace all drivers with windows default generic ones

grab the correct drivers from the mobo mfg or oem site and install them again
chipset, audio, lan, bt, wifi, vga and for dedicated gpu (amd/nvidia/intel)
