Do these GPU companies Quality Control?? like ASUS, SAPPHIRE, GIGABYTE
I just got my MSRP Prime RX 9060 XT 16gb today and both of its DP is broken but the one HDMI port is working fine, Back in Februari I got a Pulse RX 7900 XT which had ridiculously High Temperatures and Coil whine, I got an RTX 5060 Ti From Gigabyte it had also problem with power consumption and temperatures, display glitches too. Im seriously fed up with so many returns and dont know what i should do, is it my problem or the companies stopped doing QC ? Im running this old 1660 super from 2019 and it still works like day one without issue. I think its me problem having extremly bad luck, maybe If I touch a piece of gold it might turn into sh**.

here is how my display look like when using my MSRP Prime RX 9060 XT (which I was super exited and happy to grab at msrp) :

Why would you changed from 7900xt to 5060Ti
What if you just overthinking something with your PC, like 7900xt obviously will have high temp and coil whine of you using 1000fps idle , DP if two ports, maybe your cable was the problem, it's very weirdly strucktural damage if two ports spontaneous broken
just breath and be stoic bro

no cable problem, im just using it now on my gtx 1660 super, and it works fine.

As for the changing from 7900 xt was that the store i bought it from had no more in stock to give me a new one and it was a RMA case rather than return, the tech guy after checking the card more realized that the card had other issues as well but did not say what just carried my rma req, and i wasnt overusing the card for fps, my monitor has a 165fps and i use V-syns to limit framerates, and even so at that fps it hit 110-115 Hotspot and memory temp.

Sounds like the 7900xt needed a repaste. Common these days, esp. w/ low-tier high end-gpus like the Pulse to need a repaste within months or even weeks of purchase.

maybe, but im just an average consumer and relativly new to building my own pc, let alone open up a GPU

I realy want to try to open my gtx 1660 for a repaste and cleaning, even then i dont dare to mess it up which is my last option and backup right now.

Crap happens from time to time, I recall when I had a PowerColor RX Vega 64 Red Devil died on me after about 6 months of usage. I had to go thru the usual RMA process, since I'm in Asia, I'd had to ship it to TUL in California IIRC......at own cost I might add. Didn't take as long as I'd thought it would, and they shipped me a new card perhaps 2-3 weeks later. I've gotten a whole bunch of cards from Sapphire, PowerColor and XFX (have a Sapphire RX 6900 XT in my 2nd rig, an XFX RX 7900 XTX in main rig), mostly the first two through the years and that PC Vega64 Red Devil was the first that required RMA, luck of the draw I guess. I recall having to RMA my then flagship Asus ROG mobo, it happens sometimes.

Sometimes, you get a dud, this happens with all sorts of electronic stuff, like when one side (can't recall which side) of my not so new AKG K812 Pro died suddenly, much to my befuddlement and chagrin. I took to the sole distributer in my neck of the woods and they said I'd had to ship it to AKG Austria at my own expense. It did not cost that much fortunately, and much to my surprise (I was expecting them to either replace the side that went kaput, or or offer a discount for a new pair), they instructed the distributer to open a new pair right in front of me and gave me that unit. I honestly did not expect such an awesome gesture, but they did it out of goodwill, and I'm happy with that.

My point is, it's down to luck of the draw, there are duds out there from both nVidia and AMD, crap happens....

In 30 years of PC gaming I've had one GTX card where the fans suddenly started running full tilt at all times after a few years of use and one RTX 2070 from a known faulty batch. So yes you've been unlucky but it doesn't mean everything is terrible.

I bought two new Asus GTX 980's about 10-11 years back to use in SLI. I could never get SLI to work very well and eventually just gave up on the whole SLI thing.

I used the system in single GPU mode for years up to a point I wanted to use the other 980 in a different PC. Turns out the second 980 was just defective. It had barely been used. I ended up upgrading to an MSI 2070 super on my main rig and it's been going strong for 3-4 years now.

The other 980 in the other PC started overheating due to what I suspect is the heatsink separating from the GPU. Been using it with zip-ties to hold it together for a few years after that.

Those 980's were for me a terrible purchase by virtue of them being defective to some extent. But then I was pretty silly not to test each card individually when I got them. I just put it down to not understanding SLI. Scaling being awful in 95% of games I tried it in.

The MSI 2070-S Gaming Trio on the other hand has never let me down. No issues at all. All of this is likely coincidental but I'm going to go with MSI moving forward. Too bad that I couldn't find a suitable MSI branded laptop.
