i have fs i6 and upgraded its firmware to the 10ch variant and set it up using the usb cable like this
https://www.amazon.com/Xiangtat-Download-Transmitter-Controller-Firmware/dp/B089Q3ZK5B
it is not seen in windows as a controller, just a hud
may be better off looking at rc forums for help with it
most games will not be able to see the controller since it does not use dinput or xinput
there are a few rc drone/plane sim programs that can use it in usb mode
not sure what he wants to do beyond that
they are not seen as 'game controllers' just 'human input devices'
if he wants to save or apply settings or update firmware, just run its software to do that using the controllers usb cable/adapter/port
or drone sim or flight controller programmer can use it through the flight controllers usb port, as long as the receiver is powered using drone battery or from the flight controller when its powered from the pc va usb
tx -> usb -> pc
to update firmware or save/load settings to the controller
tx -> rf -> rx -> data(single digital sbus/ibus or multiple pwm signals) -> flight controller -> usb -> pc
to program the flight controller or use on some flight sim software
Thanks for the reply's
or map them to different axis/switch
be sure to use a different profile for the sim software than the rc drone/craft
Or is there another way to change to a different mode?
depending on the controller, you should be able to remap any switch/stick to any axis
but be sure to copy/save profiles before messing with them
I had to calibrate the transmitter to RF Trainer and save it with out channel 5. I have my real ArroScout plane channel 5 is my 3 position for beginner, Int, Exp the RF plane only takes off if in the EXP position.
Sorry. USB Cable
