Unless you are putting it in a very small case, you don't really want an FE this gen anyway.
OK just looked, the US (I'm guessing thus us where you are) still has inflated prices, still newegg has a few open box cards at 'good' prices, I saw an asus TUF and astral at $1300 and 1400 just now when I checked.
So how much are you willing to pay for a New RTX 5080?
It's the worse option this generation, the cooler is small, higher temps = lower clocks and it's not even any cheaper in many areas, certainly not a notable ammount.
1: Every morning when you wake up. Check the Nvidia store.
EVERY morning.
It's what I had to do too get my RTX 5080 FE and it took me 3-4 months before I got mine after launch. But this is in Sweden and if you live in USA or some other big country it will be harder.
Here in Sweden it's about 4000 to 6000 cheaper on the Nvidia store page. It's about 420$ too 630$ cheaper.
Temps right now on it is 29 degree Celsius. I think it's gone up to 50 or 60 at most. So not really an issue.
Wow that's tough on your region if you got something decent and you can wait it out wait for the super versions to come out. A lot of people will sell their non super versions to get the 24 vram the 5070ti and 5080 super models should get so in theory you should get a good deal with all those opportunities.
