For RAM, I usually go with Corsair.
If budget is a concern, manufacturer recertified enterprise grade hard drives can be worth it and they are at a significant discount vs new drives.
these are the drives i have and how i have them setup, as well all of the drive have heatsinks on them.
pc linked below, for the drives i mentioned.

side note: all 3 of the 980 pro's i got on sale (sold my old 970 pro for the OS drive), dont remember the price off hand, but they werent expensive for the sale price.
edit: the 980's were on sale for $109 each ($329 total)
in general...
OS drive connected to mobo nvme slot and only runs the OS and OS related programs
paging file drive uses all 250GB for paging and is installed with a msata to sata enclosure, leaving the OS drive free from having a paging file on it.
the 2 games drives are on a pcie add-in card, which does its own bifurcation, allowing it to run each nvme at x4 (ie... running x8) and has steam and blizzard installed on them instead of the OS drive, along with all their games.
sata drive running retro games (ie... old console games), hdd for storage (various video files, pictures, tools, etc...
to note, i was using a kingston msata as the paging file, but decide to swap to the larger one, as i havent fixed the mobo on the last laptop i bought way back in 2013 (5v is shorted, thus i need to solder on new chips), so the drive was collecting dust, could still use the kingston (120GB) if i needed.
as for ram, i use g-skill (64GB for my desktop pc), but kingston is a good brand for ram, i have used them quite a bit, especially for laptop memory.
edit: looking at prices on newegg, various samsung drives have some decent prices, some on sale currently and kingston has some lower priced, but most are a bit expensive compared to samsung currently.
edit: ram on newegg seems to be extremely cheap currently (for all the brands i seen, though again... kingston seems to be a bit higher priced), along with some on sale.
didnt check other stores, but im sure its close to the same pricing.
good luck on your choice and have a nice day
