How do I add Hard Drives?

How do I make all my hard drives show up to install my games onto them. I just recently purchased a 16TB drive, but Steam doesn't recognize it. What can I do? I have over 7 hard drives, but Steam only recognizes 4 of them.

Can you access the drive from your operating system?

If yes
Did you remember to add the drive as a new library in settings -> storage?

go to windows disk management

if the drive is new, it will need to be initialized and partitioned and formatted and assigned a drive letter before the system can use it

then in steam settings, add a library to the drive

adding to obove everytime you a ready to shutdown use the safely remove and exit Steam next time you plug in the drive and it should register in a minute.

Add a Library in Settings, very simple. All the major game clients have this

thats only for external/removable drives
