5060 Ti 16GB right now as we speak goes for starting at $450
That's actually not too bad at all.
Or get AMD 9070 16GB for around $599 right now too.
get minumum 16gb vram cards and 70 + series
tbh just get AMD instead. Nvidia is just not price / performance. AI RT overrated. if you play games AMD more than enough and much better price / performance
Is this the same one that runs all new games at 1440p and 4k at upto 100fps with an it 2600k?...
As an upgrade from a 4060 it's not great, from something older its a solid little card, best option for 'budget' though is to push to the 5060 ti 16GB available at £400 it's a great little card.
5060 8GB; yea junk, but so are ALL 4060 GPUs.
Now 5060 Ti 16GB, not bad.
The good deal atm is RX 9060 XT @ $299
It's not what I'd recommend, but it's no where near as bad as people say it is especially those with zero experience of these lower end cards capabilities.
No, it's the one that glows in the dark.
Well the 5060 is £50-70 cheaper and is competing with the 9060 not the xt, it has better upscaling, frame gen and raytracing.
As gir the 9060xt, it's only about 60 bucks off the price of a 5060ti 16GB that beats it.
So I'd say save money or buy the 5060 ti 16GB, the AMD offerings simply don't save enough to give up the nvidia features for the most part.
But, that is nothing new, AMD gpu's haven't been a great option unless there was a notable saving for years.
They need to stop following nvidia and try developing something new, their cpu division has proven to be very capable, shame the sane cannot be said of the gpu's, but atleast they now have the sane capability, even if it is still in second place, for years they just had no answer to nvidias tech.
9070 and 9070 XT gained some good ground with lateat driver updates
That makes 4060 and 5060 non Ti 16GB a complete joke
https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-rx-9070-xt-now-faster-than-rtx-5070-ti-with-9-gain-at-1440p-from-driver-updates-since-launch
But both, 9070xt and 5070Ti, are still overpriced in USA. I personally would pay a bit extra for Nvidia and its superior DLSS4 upscaling with transformer model.
