AMD has got to be kidding with this game detection
FSR4 kept disappearing from Oblivion because the game got added via the "CrashReportClient.exe" instead of "Oblivion-Remastered-Win64-Shipping.exe". Same thing with Darktide, it added three incorrect .exe files before I manually added Darktide.exe.

You'd think manually adding a game would solve the problem but it just randomly resets to the wrong .exe again.

How hard can it be to tell the driver to use "gamename.exe" for creating the game profile and not "launcher.exe", "crashreportclient.exe", "gpudetection.exe" or literally any other .exe that is not the game itself?!

More people recently use optiscaler app to inject FSR4, DLSS4 and frame generation into games.
Give it a try.
AMD being AMD is an ongoing meme.
FSR4 override is officially supported in Darktide and Oblivion, and it even works, too, there's no need for third-party software. I think that in Oblivion it actually works even if the interface says it doesn't (FSR3 looks like crap, I'd notice if it was on). It's still annoying guesswork that I'd rather not partake in.
Yea sounds like a driver issue with how all the game detection is working in a buggy way. I've tried to tell folks to stay away from AMD GPUs because of their drivers and software. Live and learn.

nVidia isn't doing much better on the driver front either at the moment, FWIW. Not to mention their stupid 12VHPWR connector and missing ROPs. What a time to be alive.
