Is tbis one game or many?

You might be trying to ru a legacy game. Where what's needed is to download and run the DirectX Redist June 2010 package.

You might also have to go into "Turn Windows Features on/off" and enable Legacy > DirectPlay and click OK to apply.

Once both done, restart Windows and retest said game or app
