Monitor
Do you turn off your device at the button, or do you always leave it on standby?

There’s no shame in unplugging your setup from the wall entirely.

The question is whether I should press the button on the monitor or just leave it hibernating; I won't unplug it.

hibernate is fine, if you turn it off, windows cannot turn it back on and it will not be seen as a display device and may move things around

Turn it off with the button on the monitor. Unless I forget!

I turn off my PC too.

When powering on - monitor first, then PC, for no special reason other than the monitor is closer.
