GPU com adaptador pci 4.0
Salve galera. Eu recentemente comprei uma RTX 4060 mas minha placa mãe é uma B450m com pci express 3.0. Eu to bem feliz com minha plaquinha nova, mas queria saber uma coisa. Se eu comprar um adaptador pci 4.0 ele funcionaria igual como se fosse uma placa mãe com pci 4.0 nativo ou não mudaria nada ou até poderia piorar o desempenho? E não venham com aquele tipo de resposta imunda "ai compra uma nova placa mãe que resolve uga uga bu"

there is no adapter to make the 3.0 slot to 4.0

only thing you can do is get a pxi-e 4.0 mobo and cpu

most games the difference is small or gpu limited

You only really need full PCIE 5.0 bandwidth for a 4090. The lower teir RTX 40 are fine on 3.0

But there is no reason you should have a Motherboard that is old enough to not have PCIE 4.0 anyways

4060 is low end GPU anyways.

Save up and whn possible make the switch to AM5 Motherboard + DDR5 + at least a 9600X or 9700X CPU

For the price of a 4060 probably could have gotten a 3080 instead

rtx xx60 is entry level now
the cards do not have x16 lanes because they dont need them

xx70 and higher cards do have all x16 lanes
