Ok I have been waiting almost 7 years to get back to PC gaming. About 4 months ago I bought all the components then I got called away on a lengthy work situation. Finally built the PC a week ago Friday only to get called away again. Been back home a couple days but swamped with work and home stuff. I am taking Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons off and will not be working this weekend.

First thing I will be doing is 3dmark, specifically 2001se if it still works on Windows 11. I ran it on every build since it came out even though not relevant for many years it's a nostalgic thing for me.

Then I will get the Asheron's Call emulator running and visit my favorite game of all time.

Next I think it will be Elden Ring, though Hogwarts Legacy, Red Dead Redemption 2 are also possibilities.

I feel like a kid again and Christmas Eve is tomorrow lol.
