UE based games issue
After downloading a game called star rupture which froze on launch, crashed task manager, then will not unload from steam (long story short restarted comp)

Now NO UE based games will launch, same symptoms wont unload from steam without restarting comp

Did something change with UE? Did something change with Steam, did this game fry some crap in my new PC?

Tried running several games and determined its only the UE based ones, Error code posted below, same LLFE code for each game

Unreal Engine 5 games can expose stability problems and in particular premature silicon degradation on 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs.

If you have such CPU then try a BIOS update.

I'm not very PC literate.
So if what I've wrote doesn't really pertain to your situation. Then ignore.

Last year I had 1 game (Call of Cthulu) that would fatal crash not even 2 minutes into the game.
The other was Adam - Lost Memories. Wouldn't even start.
Both UE games.
I ended up finding a solution for Call of Cthulu which was changing a variable. That in itself also ended up fixing the other game.
Since that time both are playable.

Because you need to juat launch and let game be idle. It's using 100% CPU to do shader compile before the game can fully load.

Open Task Manager > Details and set Task Manager to Realtime and Explorer to High.

Soon as you launch a UE game, hurry and change the affinity and remove 1 thread from the list and click OK

UE is a bad engine, even though some people think otherwise.

At any rate, with so many variables doubt anyone will find the issue.

Try asking EPIC or the developer -- you did pay them for the game one way or another.
I never had a issue with Wukong or STALKER2 with regards to the UE5 engine alone. But I assume DETROIT Beyond Human used it to and for this game I had to do the trick I described otherwise it would hog the CPU so much it makes the Keyboard become totally unresponsive.

I 100% refuse to use the EPIC client

Unstable system. Try a bios update

Maybe it was your storage issue, try install it on different drive

I would also suggest BIOS update

Make sure to get from mobo manufacturer and type in the precise name of your model

Download bios version

Format a usb stick to exFAT I'm pretty sure

Put bios file on usb, plug into rear i/o USB slot that should be labeled "bios"

Restart

Go into bios

Should be a flash bios update option or something similar

Select file on usb

Do not touch PC at all until this is done and it restarts

Modern Motherboards do not require you use a USB flash drive. You can simply extract the bios update you downloaded to the root of C drive and it should see it.
I cannot comment until I know your hardware, OP, so give us a rundown of your system components, please and thank you.

Oh that's pretty cool, and quite useful, I did not know that.

run memtest 86 / prime95 it should be free and it will tell you if your system is stable.

shuffle ram and cpu test 15mins for both

if it passes run a 3dmark benchmark,
