SSDs are so fast that when WinOS shows your copy or move process window is all done, it's actually not. You can keep an eye on this further by viewing the Reads/Writes of Drives via Task Manager > Performance tab
ill try to cotact samsung although its bought from Amazon " if you dont know ... if u buy stuff from amazon that was sold by amazon germany for example " warranty is not covering overseas as they told me before .. and about the SSDs placed right .. i belive they do .. otherwiese it wouldnt be working one day on and one day off .. but recently is doing this move over and over again
bought both last novermber so basically none of them completed a one year yet
I wouldn't trust Magician to report errors. I had an SSD fail and Magician didn't report anything wrong with it, but when it was replaced, all the problems with the PC went away.
It's really difficult to say what was wrong, except operations seem to randomly slow down, sometimes never completing and just causing the PC to die. Other times things worked just fine. But, like I said, Magician reported that everything was good, even when Magician itself collapsed.
The engineer I spoke to about it seemed to think that it was possibly the controller chip on the SSD that was failing, which perhaps explained why Magician didn't report any errors.
Anyway, the drive failing was C: but it affected the operation of the entire PC, so it was difficult to tell that it was only C:
for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles try another sata cable and see if it disconnects.....oh and if you got a open one switch sata ports on the mother......
the M.2s connected directly to motherboard with no cables
any better alternatives .. coz i just removed it from my pc because some ppl say its hitting ram hard
if the drive is disappearing, it more likely windows hiding empty drives
check disk management to see if its still there and partitioned and assigned a letter
and explorer properties and tick show empty drives
Well, mine got replaced with a 980 pro and it's been great ever since. But I do worry about how long it's going to last.
i dont think thats the case since at least at this very moment the SSD is working and its showing up normal ... BTW when the errors happen .. i cant Read or Write of Play games from the effected SSD .. BUT the SSD still showing up everywhere and i can even access its files BUT i cant move them or copy paste them or delete them ..
samsung replaced this for you ??
how did the process go .. since they asked me to take it to thier center for checking " which is 5 hours away from me " to check the drives and i cant do that
