4K OLED monitors - 27" vs 32".
Which is better for a 4K OLED?

Personal preference.

Though, personally, I'd stick with 1440p at 27 inch, the extra clarity is not worth the performance hit on a small screen even with a 5090.

If you don't have a 4090 or 5090, id just not go to 4k.

So my vote is 32 inch.

4k for 40+in
1440p is a good res for 27-32in

Only if you're blind
I have a 34inch 4k oled and to be honest its too big for me so upon the release of the next gen 4k oleds coming out I'm going to be grabbing a 27 inch.
I'd say it also depends how far you sit from the screen, at the distance I sit at about full arms length, 4k and 1440p are not worth the performance hit on a 27 inch screen, but these things are very personal and only the individual can say what is best for them.

Edit.
I mean in motion during general game play, looking at images 4k is fairly clearly superior.

A 27" 4k panel is very crisp, and you can probably fit two 27" panels on a desk. 32" would make text easier to read at 4k, especially in half-assed indie games that don't have any accessibility features. I can't really say I've ever had trouble with my 27" panel, though. 40" is more comfortable for reading text, but it's huge. The number of ppi at 40" is still reasonable, but it's not as crisp as a 27" panel.
32 inch imo is the way to go but if you got really sharp vision and can make proper use of the pixel density at 27 inch... go for it and save some money.

I've been mostly using my 32 inch for graphic design work since I got it haha.

bigger monitor means you can sit further from the monitor and put less strain on your eyes
