Steam Input does not recognize my Turtle Beach Velocity One Flight Stick
In an attempt to play War Thunder Sim mode on my mac, I wired up my turtle beach flight stick. The game actually recognizes the flight stick, but the axes only work up to about 50% of the input range, and then they bug out.

So, using steam input or some third party software to translate the controller inputs to a virtual axis seems like the best idea. However, Steam input does not detect my flight stick, whether it is in PC or XBox mode.

I actually had the issue while running the game from its native launcher, not from steam. i downloaded steam to see if steam input *would* map the controller as an xbox, so the axes would at least work properly.
Can't offer a solution but only back up it probably won't work, I have a X56 and tried to get it working in No Mans Sky VR through Steam input following some old guide I could find but I couldn't get it working, It should work as mine doesn't need a driver for Windows and is just a HID compliant device, it did detect it and buttons were ok but couldn't get movement working.
try x360ce, its better at recognizing other controllers than steam
